TRISH DEMERS AND SIERRA   

Sierra is a young half Hackney/half Belgian who is doing equally well
driving and riding.
Trish and Sierra are succeeding in dressage, pleasure driving, and all-breed competitions, such as the Ventura County (CA) Fair, where these Ladies won the Battle of the Breeds, winning in English, Western, Trail and Driving.
The photo, left, was taken in 1999, at the Wine Country Classic in Petaluma CA, where this turn-out won the Ride & Drive class, and earned a second placing in the large Champagne Presentation Drive.

In addition to the fun competitions, Trish and Sierra work Mounted Patrols at large shopping malls. Sierra earned the distinction of being the only mare certified to do this exacting work, as usually only geldings who pass prescribed training and testing are approved for this important employment.

Trish also owns a wonderful and multi-talented older Hackney Horse gelding, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (a.k.a. Kyle), a lovely riding and driving Hackney Horse mare, Martin's Golden Lady (for sale*), and Lady's 1999 Hackney Horse son by Imp. Hallmandale Ambers Pride, (owned by Panache Sport Horses.)
